Make the MOST of Crossing the Border! Germany to Poland

What do you do when you have one full day to use however you want when you're in East Germany? You go visit a new country, of course!

We had a day between the Euro Cup match in Berlin, Croatia v. Spain, and the next match in Hamburg, Croatia v. Albania, and we thought what's close to Berlin? So, we researched border cities in Poland and settled on Szczecin! And truthfully, ZERO REGRETS.

It's an absolutely delightful little city- clean, affordable, walkable, and historic. It was everything we love. And while we didn't find Polish pierogies, strangely enough, we did find the most delicious kofta we've ever had!

Come with us as we stroll through the Castle of the Duke of Pomerania, wander along Waty Chobrego, and drive out to Bukowa Forest. It's a trip to remember.
