Let’s take you back to the Spring of 2016—hot, rainy Florida days, pollen in the air, and love swirling in the afternoon storms right along with it.​ We met while working at a rooftop bar in St. Petersburg, Florida, and from the very first moment, there was an undeniable spark. (Funny side note—Montana’s ex-boyfriend actually got her the job there!) And just like the hibiscus blooms in summer, love wasn’t far behind.

 

Within weeks, we took our first trip together to Key West, and just two months later, we were off to Europe for the summer. Crazy, right?!​ We knew this was either going to be the start of a beautiful love story or a complete disaster. Nothing tests a relationship quite like a three-month backpacking trip! But here we are, nine years later, happily married since 2021 and still traveling the world side by side. It’s not always perfect, but sharing this life together means everything to us.​

 

In the summer of 2022, we took the leap—we quit our full-time jobs to backpack Southeast Asia and launched Always on the Glow Up! Over the past three years, we’ve gone from an Instagram page to a monetized YouTube channel and now this full-fledged website. We’ve loved sharing our journey as an international travel couple and being transparent about how we afford this lifestyle—from Airbnb hosting to tiny home living to affiliate marketing, UGC content, and everything in between.​

 

Our mission is simple: be open, be honest, and keep it real. We aim to emulate the good we see in the world and spread that energy everywhere we go.
